AdvisorShares Active ETF Market Share Update – Week Ending 7/24/2015

Assets in actively managed ETFs went up by $377 million, or 1.8%, to $21.273 billion despite the broad decline last week in global equity markets. There were no new funds launched last week while the total count remains at 131.

The large increase was primarily attributed to a massive $462 million inflow at ValueShares which went to its quantitative equity fund. iShares had $122 million in positive flows and $71 million went to PIMCO. First Trust had a $222 million outflow.

At the strategy level, US equities had positive flows of $477 million which ties to ValueShares. Global Bond added $121 million and Short Term Bond lost $101 million.

The Value Shares news also changed the market share data, giving the firm a 2.56% share.
