AdvisorShares Active ETF Market Share Update – Week Ending 5/27/2016

Assets in actively managed ETFs increased by $191 million, or 0.75%, to $25.429 billion. No new funds listed last week, which leaves the count at 144.

Most of that gain can be attributed to $108 million growth at First Trust as well as a $54 million to State Street. Declines were modest; PowerShares contracted by $21 million.

At the category level, Short Term Bond added $59 million, Alternative Income grew by $48 million and Global Bond had a net increase of $33 million. Declines were even more modest than at the sponsor level. Foreign Bond, the category laggard, dropped by $11 million.
