AdvisorShares Active ETF Market Share Update – Week Ending 5/19/2017

Assets in actively managed ETFs put in yet another strong showing last week adding $475 million, or 1.3%, to $34.92 billion. There were two new funds last week and two closures, which leaves the overall total at 163.

Recent entrant Principal Funds led the way in net new assets with $134 million, followed by $115 million to PIMCO and $97 million to State Street. WisdomTree had the largest drop, losing $22 million.

At the strategy level, Short Term Bond was the winner on the week adding $162 million with Global Equity a close second at $130 million. Currency contracted by $21 million.
