AdvisorShares Active ETF Market Share Update – Week Ending 1/24/14
This past week, the active ETF market experienced a very modest gain – roughly 0.66% – of just over $90 million. Total net assets now hover around $15.15 billion. The Short Term Bond category, led by an increase of $36 million in PIMCO’s Enhanced Short Duration, still sits atop with 32.62% of the market share. The category also benefited from the addition of a new fund, PIMCO’s Low Duration ETF. Along with Low Duration, PIMCO incepted their new Diversified Income ETF on January 22nd. Led by WisdomTree’s Emerging Markets Local Debts Fund’s loss of $26.8 million this past week, the Foreign Bond category incurred the greatest decrease in assets, with a total loss of $30.01 million.
